Navajo Girls Fast Pitch - Rules and Regulations 2018

8U TOC Rules

1.  All regular season rules will remain the same, unless amended below.

2.   Home team is decided by a coin flip before the game. The team on the top of the bracket occupies the third base dugout and calls the coin flip.

3.  Before the game begins, coaches must exchange defensive line-ups listing each player's name, jersey number, and defensive assignments.

4.  Pitchers will be allowed six (6) innings for every two (2) consecutive games played.

5.  All teams must have at least 9 players to begin. If a team cannot field 9 players, they must forfeit.

6.  A team playing with 9 players must take an "out" when the tenth batter would be up.

7. No new inning after 1:20 (one hour and 20 minutes). If an inning is started before the 1:20 limit, it must be completed. In the event of a tie at the end of regulation time, the International Tie Breaker will be used, with the last batter from the previous inning taking second base with no outs.

8.  In the event of a game that goes more than 6 innings, players may sit out more than 2 innings.

9.  At the conclusion of each game, both coaches and the umpire must sign the provided "score card", a photo of which must be submitted to the league president via email ( ) or text. The score card must include the final score and the innings pitched by each pitcher (include name and jersey number).

10.  Championship game(s) will be 5 innings (no time limit). All pitchers innings reset. The team from the winners’ bracket is home team and occupies 3rd base dugout. The TOC is a true double-elimination tournament so a second championship game may be required if the first championship game results in two teams with one TOC loss.
