Annual All-Star Tournament Hosted by Navajo

Beginning in 2021, Navajo began hosting its own tournament during the All-Stars season, the SD Summer Sizzle. This June, we are excited to hold our 5 th Summer Sizzle tournament at the Lake Murray softball fields for All-Stars Gold (USA Softball “B” Classified) teams from all over San Diego County.

Nestled between the blue water of Lake Murray and the height of Cowle’s Mountain, the Lake Murray fields are busy with non-stop softball games all weekend. All-Stars teams compete in the 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions with a two-game pool play that leads to a single elimination bracket play the following day (3-game guarantee).

Players win MVP medals in pool play and rings in bracket championships, and in between games, they enjoy shaved ice, buying t-shirts and croc pieces, and watching friends play on the fields.

This is a family affair as the NGF league along with its All-Stars families run the event to make sure you’re having some summer fun at the fields.

How Your League Can Register

Date: June 13-15, 2025

Location: Navajo Girls Fastpitch (Lake Murray Ballfields), San Diego

Format: Two game pool play into single elimination brackets (3-game guarantee)

Who: For USA Softball "B" classified teams (8U, 10U, and 12U)

Price: $650 / team

Registration Details

Complete the interest form (available March 8th) linked above to submit your team's interest in the tournament. Please note that this form does not guarantee your team's entry. After interest forms are received, teams/leagues will be contacted to confirm registration for the tournament.

Each form submission is for a single team only. Please submit the form multiple times for additional teams.

Payment information will be provided in subsequent message when team registration is confirmed.

The tournament will be run in Tourney Machine. Tournament pools and schedule will be released the Wednesday before the tournament.
