We are excited to invite Navajo Families out to The Clubhouse on February 1 from 12:30-2:30 to give your player an opportunity to get extra swings in before the season starts! Pizza will be provided for those that RSVP. You may even get to hold a Silver Medal from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics!  

Important Dates!! 

Opening Day: Saturday, February 7 The first games of the season will commence on Opening Day for all divisions. The Banner parade will begin at 11:30. There will be food trucks and swag for sale on-site. Also, there will be an inflatable and face painting – all free! It's a busy day! Plan to arrive early and be patient with parking. Over 400 families will be joining us to kick off the 2026 Spring Season. 

Patrick Henry High School clinic March 1st Sign ups will open on February 1st. Limited to the first 60 players. Cost is $50 per player and players must be registered at Navajo for the spring season.

Navajo Night Out: March 21 This is an adult only event held at the Elks Lodge. This year’s theme is “sneaker ball”. Wear something fun with your fave sneakers. Tickets will be available on the website as the date gets closer. 

Egg Tournament: April 4th The Egg Tournament is an annual one-day round-robin tournament held at the Lake Fields. It is open to all players in the 10u & 12u divisions. This tournament is a separate event from your team’s games. It is not mandatory, and will be an additional cost to participate. We will have registration on the website open closer to the tournament date. Registration usually fills up within a few hours. For our Minis, 6u and 8u divisions, we will also host an Easter egg “hunt” in the grass between the fields. More info will be posted on our website! 

SDSU Women’s Softball Games: Bring your softball team to SDSU to watch a college softball game. Navajo has arranged group ticket pricing of $6 per ticket. Keep an eye out for an email or social media post to purchase tickets.  Various dates available

USA Softball’s Softball Day at Petco Park: April 11th @ 5:40pm Each year, the San Diego Padres host a Softball Day themed baseball game. USA Softball players all over the city are invited to attend and participate in a parade around the warning track of the field before the game begins. This event is optional, and ticket sales will be on our website in the very near future. 

Navajo Girls Fastpitch Softball - Who Are We?

Navajo Girls Fastpitch (NGF) is a non-profit youth softball league located in the San Carlos/ Lake Murray community in San Diego, California. Because our Lake Murray home fields border both the San Diego and La Mesa city boundaries, our league’s name was coined from the major cross street of our home fields, Navajo Road.   

We have provided an outlet for thousands of players, ages 4-16 years old to learn the sport of fastpitch softball. We have been a second home for so many athletes in San Diego, and have helped pave the way for countless collegiate athletes for over 40 years.   

Navajo Girls Fastpitch is a 'B' level league governed by USA Softball. USA Softball is the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States and a United States Olympic Committee (USOC) voting member.   

Our players live in the surrounding areas of San Diego; San Carlos, Del Cerro, Allied Gardens, Tierrasanta, Mission Valley, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Rancho San Diego, El Cajon, Lakeside, Santee, & Spring Valley.
